Ibermática’s commitment to Quality
Quality management is a necessity in both the public and private sectors. The improvement of organizational behavior in the field of quality is essential for the competitiveness of enterprises.
The company’s orientation towards quality is based on the fact that productivity is no longer a guarantee of competitiveness. Regardless of their specialization and size, and within the context of the current dynamics of competitiveness, organizations face key challenges that require us to practice a management style based on flexibility and innovation.
The structure is not a goal in itself. Decision-making processes, ways of working, systems, etc., must be at the service of the corporate mission from the very moment of their definition and design.
The goal of quality is to improve all those processes that take place before, during and after the time of delivering the product or service to customers, internal and external.

Continuous improvement based on international regulations
We manage projects and services according to an Integrated Management System for Quality, Security and Continuity, oriented towards quality management and based on International Standards, subject to controls and audits for their renewal:
- ISO 9001 (ER-0698/1999, ER-0158/2017), for the different activities that make up the integrated Quality Management System (QMS).
- ISO 20000-1 (STI-0008/2009, STI-0003/2017, STI-0016/22), for the Service Management System (SGS).
- ISO 18295-1 (A79/000029), for the Customer Contact Center Services Management System (CCMS).
- ISO 27001 (SI-0071/2010, SI-0005/2015, SI-0302/19), for the Information Security Management System (ISMS).
- ISO 27018 (SPI-0002/19), for the IberCloud PCI Platform (multi-client), extending the ISMS and forming a Code of Practices for the Protection of Personal Identification PII.
- ISO 27701 (TSI-0003/20), for the IberCloud PCI Platform (multi-client), extending the ISMS and forming a Code of Practice for the Protection of PII Identification.
- Adherence to the Digital Pact for People, promoted by the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
- ISO 22301 (CN-0006/20), for the Business Continuity Management System (BCMS).
- ISO 14001 (248809-2017-AE-IBE-ENAC), for the Environmental Management System (EMS).
- Carbon footprint (CoC) and greenhouse gas (GHG) (2021-a0983), offsetting and CO2 absorption projects (calculation year 2020 / scope 1+2), verified in 2021 (ES121144-1).
- National Security Scheme (ENS-0171/21, ENS-2020/0004), both with MEDIA category.
- SGE 21 (318/21), for the Ethical and Socially Responsible Management System (SGRS).
- We have renewed our adherence to the Diversity Charter until 2024 and we are part of the STEAM Alliance for female talent.
- ISO 37301 (SGC-0001/22) + ISO 37001 (AS-0003/21), for the Criminal and Anti-Bribery Compliance Management System (SGCP).
Continuous improvement is guaranteed by full-time professionals who identify and propose improvements in a coordinated manner:
- Quality assurance teams, which carry out an intensive program of audits and reviews.
- Corporate PMO (Projects and Services Control Office (OCP) + Alarm Center (CA)), which support the Management in the early identification of projects and/or services with potential and/or real problems, as well as in their follow-up and control both technically and economically.
- Technical Offices, which collect good practices and propose standards and technical and management tools.
- Factories, software, services and products, which put good practices and lessons learned from certified models and regulations into practice.
We adopt internationally recognized models
Additionally, we adopt internationally recognized models of good practices in:
- Software development:
- CMMI® (Capability Maturity Model Integration) level 2 (DEV) (with certification since 2007, renewed in 2022) and level 5 (DEV) (with certification since 2020, renewed in 2022).
- PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge) with many professionals with PMP certification (from Project Management Institute).
- Specific certifications for SAP in: Hosting Operations, Application Operations (both SAP Business Suite and SAP S/4HANA), SAP HANA Operations, and Cloud and Infrastructure Operations, and we are SAP Qualified in the Partner Packaged Program, as well as being a Partner Center of Expertise (PCoE).
- Service Management:
- CMMI® (Capability Maturity Model Integration) level 2 (SVC) (with certification since 2017, renewed in 2022)
- ITIL® (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) with more than 100 certified professionals between Foundation and Service Manager.
- LEAN IT Foundations, the company with the most certifications worldwide.
- IT Governance: COBIT5 y COBIT2019 (more than 10 certified professionals) and PRINCE 2.
Likewise, we are certified as a provider of infrastructure services, and management services and hosting services with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) v3.2.1
We are part of the RePro Community (prequalification system for suppliers in the energy sector used in South America and Southern Europe, endorsed by Achilles South Europe).
We have the Hellios Level 2 Certificate, for El Arte de Medir en Digital (EAM by Ibermática).
We have the Bequal certification category PLUS (005/2018) that distinguishes us as socially responsible with disability, being the first Spanish ICT company to hold this certification.
